Compatibility With the release of Windows7, there are questions about what versions of MICROPAS run on what versions of Windows. The good news is that MICROPAS8 works directly on all common versions of Windows including Windows7, Windows Vista and Windows XP both 32 bit and 64 bit versions. So, if you are thinking about upgrading your computer, and you just want to run MICROPAS8, everything should be ok. MICROPAS7 works directly on Windows7, Windows Vista and Windows XP 32 bit versions. However, most new computers seem to be shipped with Windows7 64 bit Home or Home Premium versions. MICROPAS7 can run on Windows7 64 bit if running Windows7 Professional or Ultimate and running in Windows XP Compatibility mode. So you may need to also purchase a Windows Anytime upgrade to get to either the Professional or Ultimate versions. This upgrade is $89 online from Microsoft.
