MICROPAS6
v6.01 C-HERS DOWNLOAD
This version implements the new Energy Star home criteria
that requires homes to be at least 15% above Title 24
instead of 30% above the Model Energy Code. As with
earlier C-HERS versions, you must set the COMPLIANCE RUN
input in the RUN FEATURES section of your input file to '
C-HERS' to access the C-HERS features. When not run in
C-HERS mode, this version yields exactly the same results
as the regular v6.01.

1. |
Start with: download
now. A dialog will come up asking you to specify the directory where you want to save
this file. Note: In order for the install
routine to work, you must specify a temporary
location with a name of no more than 8
characters (e.g. \temp).

Next, extract the MICROPAS6 installation files from the downloaded file. To do this in DOS, type
mp6chers
In Windows, double-click on the mp6chers.exe file from the file manager or explorer.

Start the installation procedure. From DOS, type:
install
In Windows, double-click on the
install.exe file
from the file manager or explorer.

4. |
Copy the LICENSE.SYS file
from your regular v6.01 program to the new
C-HERS directory (usually \mp6chers). You
can copy from either an existing directory
(usually \mp60) or from your v6.01 disk
using the DOS copy command or Windows Explorer.

Reboot your computer by
turning it off and back on again.

Start the program.
mp6chers
In Windows, double-click on the MICROPAS6
