v7.10 Released January 23, 2006 A new IECC version has been released free of charge to existing IECC users. The main reason for this update is to make the program consistent with new federal appliance efficiency requirements for Air Conditioners effective January 23, 2006 that generally make the standard more stringent. We recommend that you update to this version as soon as possible for all compliance work. Letter to SNBO requesting a switch to this version. IECC Version for
Nevada - Announcing MICROPAS7 IECC version! This is a new version of MICROPAS7 designed for use in Nevada. It includes the Southern Nevada amendments and performs a Chapter 4 systems analysis automatically. Now IECC users can enjoy the same level of automation as California Title-24 users. You enter your proposed building and MICROPAS7 does the rest including generating the necessary compliance documentation. Check back at this web page frequently for updates on the status of approval recognized by the Southern Nevada Building Officials (SNBO). Approval is pending and should be available shortly. In the mean time, SNBO allows several alternatives. One is to have a licensed professional to approve its use and a second is to have a RESNET approved HERS provider approve its use.
