2005 Standards You have probably heard that there are new 2005 standards are here as of October 1, 2005. MICROPAS7 MICROPAS7 has been approved by the California Energy Commission for use with the 2005 standards and is now shipping. Version 7.0 for new construction was approved March 30, 2005. An updated version 7.1 for both new and additions/alterations was approved September 21, 2005. On June 29, 2006, the CEC approved v7.2 which includes the ice storage air conditioner model (ISAC) like those made by Ice-Energy. *NEW* On October 11, 2006, the CEC approved v7.3 which includes all the features of earlier versions plus the ability to model evaporatively cooled condensing units by Freus.
